What Causes Burning Sensation During Urination?

For about a week now I have been experiencing a slight burning sensation while urinating. I've purchased an over the counter uti medication and took orally for approximately 3 days until the pain subsided. The burning pain was gone for a day or two but now it is back but much worse. The pain is now keeping me up at night, causing itching and burning in my vaginal area as well. The outer lips of my vagina are also very swollen. Tonight, I woke up to try to relive myself of this pain and blood came out during my urination.
Please help me get rid of this pain!

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely urinary tract infection. You can rule out that by doing a routine urine test.Presence of excess amount of puss cells will be characteristic for Urinary infection.I advise antibiotics like norfloxacin empirically in my patients in such case and send urine for culture and sensitivity and change antibiotic if necessary after getting culture report.I also advise them to take barley water or cranberry juice to alkalinise urne.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
