What Causes Burning Sensation In Lower Back When Suffering From Degenerative Disc Disease

Hi. I've had xrays done and have a little degeneration on L5-S1.will yoga/ pilates help? And I also have sometimes a little burning sensation in my lower back. I'm 56yrs. Female n 59kg.I prefer alternative meds. I'm an aromatherapist and do watch my posture when I massage.Please advise

If you are having disc problem , chances are high that this disc is compressing nerve of your leg which passes from brain to leg through your spine. I would recommend you to get MRI of your spine. This will give us picture about your compression site. If MRI is normal than physiotherapy will be helpful. If nerve compression is there start gabapentin and methyl cobalamine.
