Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It's unlikely to be as a result of any injury that you sustained as a child. It's more likely to be as a result of a pinched nerve in the neck and you may be feeling the pain in the arm as a result of radiation of the pain along the nerve. Please see an orthopedic surgeon ASAP.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. John Chacko, Orthopedic Surgeon
