I took some medicine on a empty stomach and started puking bile for 2 days. When I tried to rehydrate or eat I puked everthing back up again. It's been 4 days and it still hurts to eat or drink (burning&lump sensation) should I go to the doctor?? Or will it just take more time to heal??

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.

Noted the history and understood the concerns. Sine you have not mentioned the exact name of the medicine it is difficult for me to know about what exactly would have happened. But it is for sure when there is vomiting green bile that the possible diagnosis is related to bile reflux causing gastritis and vomiting,
Another reason can be related to small intestinal obstruction.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
As correctly asked by you, consult a Doctor immediately for clinical evaluation, examination and investigations:
Tests of blood for CBC, liver and kidney functions.
Ultrasonography of abdomen.
X-ray of abdomen in standing position.
Upper GI Endoscopy.
All these will lead to a proper diagnosis and helps you in proper management.

Take care.
