What Causes Burning Sensation In The Vagina After Intercourse?

Hi I have been with my bf for two years now I ve never really experienced pain with him before now. We made love today and he finished inside of me and I started to feel a burning sensation. I went to the bathroom after .& it was so painful. Then a few hours after that I went to the bathroom again & found brown wax like flakes in my underwear and my vagina. It cannot be from my period because I am three days late for my period and my body shows no signs of my menstural cycle starting. (No cramping, mood swings, etc) WHAT IS GOING ON with my body ?! Please help
