What Causes Burning Sensation In The Vagina And Urinary Incontinence?

Hello, I am 47 yo female; experiencing some symptoms of a UTI but my urine test/culture came out negative (taken a week ago); Doctor told me to drink more water, which I have been. I am still experiencing mainly the urgency to go more frequently and a slight dribble effect that is just with me enough to cause me annoyance and discomfort. I have some slight burning sensation in vagina even just sitting. I am in perimenopause, haven t had a period since May 2016. Just hopelessly wondering if this really is a UTI or what.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
If the uroculture come on negative you should check secretions for yeast or bacterial vaginal infection.
Also since you are in menopause atrophy can happen and you should use lubricants to ease discomfort of atrophy.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
