What Causes Burning Sensation In Throat After Taking Antibiotics And Ultram?
On tuesday I had a wisdom tooth removed. My dentist prescribed antibiotics and ultram. On thursday, I took my antibiotic and ultram and laid down. I felt a slight burning sensation in the back of my throat. When I got up, it still burned some. Later, when I sat down to eat dinner, I felt like I had a chicken bone in my throat. When I went to swallow a bite of food, I almost threw it up. The chicken bone feeling is now in my chest behind my left breast. WHen I try to eat something, it feels like it wont go down and almost gets stuck there. Sensation kind of feels like eating peanut butter and it is stuck there. What should I do?

What Causes Burning Sensation In Throat After Taking Antibiotics And Ultram?
Hello, It could be due to inflammatory causes like pharyngitis. As a first line management you can do warm saline gargles for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persists better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
