What Causes Burning Sensation Near The Sternum Area?

sir .. i am sachin 19 yrs old, 92 kg,178cm height due to consumption of spicy food last week i experienced burning sensation near the sternum area.... i consulted the doctor ...and under medication now... also facing improper bowel movement...and indigestion feeling pin pricking around my belly (but not frequently) after eating and when i sit for long hours and do excersise , i feel uneasy in belly portion sir...whenever i am stressed (especially at night) i feel as if there is some burning sensation and heat produced in my upper portion of stomach.....so i get more stressed and so i cannot sit late night (i.e. after 12am)....... sir ... is there any permanent solution ??sir ... is that anything serious ??

Hello! Thanks for putting your query in HCM. I am a Gastroenterologist. . Wish you a good healthThis gastric problem may be due to acid peptic disease. For which I will advise you to avoid tea, coffee, oily and spicy food. Also avoid citrus fruits. Among medications take a proton pump inhibitor like rabeprazole and a prokinetic agent like domperidone.
