hai,

Nerve damage in leg and foot will cause Burning sensation .(neuropathy). Keeping ice pack will cause temporary relief because ice pack will cause temporary block to the nerve which causing you burning sensation.

As your high Blood pressure can also be the reason for Burning sensation.

In condition like PAD (peripheral artery disease ) ,vitamin B12 deficiency burning sensation occurs.

in old age damage in blood vessels of leg and foot will lead to pain and burning sensation in feet while walking.

in other systemic diseases also neuropathy will occur.

kindly consult your physician to rule out the cause behind the burning sensation for further investigation.

Thank you
Hope i answered your query.
