What Causes Burning Sensation While Urinating After Having Beer?

Though it comes and goes, sometimes after I have a few beers I have the urge to urinate but have problems going. It feels like a burning sensation and an urge with a lot of pressure but I cannot seem to relieve the sensation. It could happen the next time I drink or maybe not until six months from now. What's going on?

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Possible increased bladder pressure along with bladder inflammation.
2. Bladder inflammation would cause severe urge and it will present with burning sensation.
3. Take plenty of water and next time, do get an urine microscopy to evaluate for epithelial cells and WBC
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
