What Causes Burning Sensation While Urinating?

hi my 7 yr old boy came home from school yesterday and told me that it burned when he peed but after going to the washroom several times it stopped hehas been awake for an hour now and has not gone to the bathroom. He was running hot @12:30 am and sweating too while sleeping thu the night..what do you sugges I do?
