My age is 31 yrs.I had urinary burning sensation and reported to my doc.On Jan 3rd, i gt this problem gave me urikind and Gatop medicines.By Jan 13th, i got mild bleed n my stool.I took Rantac and gelusil from my doc.I had recurrent fever inbetween.Then by Feb 3rd, my Urine report culture showed 8oo count of Positive gram cocci.My doc has advised Mahacef tablets fr a week.FROM DAY 2 ,ive started getting burning sensation while passing urine.Kindly advise.My blood tests showed normal.Scan reports showed normal.
Hi... I would like to know pus cells in ur urine routine report. Pus cells in urine should be more than 5 to suspect infection. 800 counts of gram positive cocci ur urine culture is does not look correct. Colony counts in excess of 100000/cmm is significant. gram positive r rare in culture. Kindly send mid stream urine for routine and culture after retraction of prepuce. Based on the report treat ur infection with culture sensitive antibiotics. may add alkalizer and urispas thrice daily to decrease symptoms. do u also have constipation or any history of hemorrhoids or fissure in ano. These need to be taken care of. Add laxative and antibiotics.. quinolones with Metronidazole combination will help.
