What Causes Burning Sensation While Urinating?

I got the flu on the 2nd of April, vomiting, non stop diarrhea Wednesday and Thursday. I bought some Immodium D(?) It helped. Then I noticed very little urine when I peed and lot of burning. Called Dr. got some sulfa and started drinking Cranberry Juice. I m tired and my back hurts. What now?

Understand your concern.
Following are the cause of your problem:
Urinary tract infection: cystitis, urethritis, glomerulonephritis
Obstruction to urinary tract by stone or tumor
Severe dehydration
Allergy to drugs: primaquine, sulfa drugs

Consult the urologist for exact diagnosis and do necessary investigations like
Urine: routine, microscopic and culture
USG
CBC, ESR, Urea, creatinine

Take the following advice
Drink plenty of fluids and proper rest
Maintain pelvic hygiene
Tablet septran
Urine alkali agent like potassium citrate
Take fruits like orange, cranberry, pineapple, papaya and pomegranate
Repeat the urine test after 7-10 days
