What Causes Burning Sensation While Urination?

I have been suffering from a cold/flu all week but beginning to feel better. Until today I have been taking paracetamol only, but today I swapped to lemsip. This evening, I noticed that it burns when I pee. Is this normal or something to worry about?

Hello

It is important to rule out urinary tract infection(UTI)in burning micturition.
You need proper clinical examination and routine investigations.
Investigations include routine hemogram,random blood sugar,Urine RE/ME,urine culture and sensitivity,ultrasound of abdomen.

You may need to take antibiotics.
You should drink plenty of water.
