What Causes Burning, pressure, bloating Under The Breast Bone?

I have a burning, pressure, bloating feeling under my breast bone. All the way across. I can go sit down for a few minutes and it goes away. This has really been bothering me for about a month. I was told by my family dr that it was gerd. but why does it go away when I sit or lie down for a while. I do have indigestion a lot.

Hi, welcome to Health care magic forum.
You have burning, pressure, and bloating feeling under the breast bone, while standing, and free when sitting, or lying .
I advise you to consult a cardiologist for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have E.C.G,echo,and stress test, to avoid the involvement of the heart.
If cardiac problem is excluded, consult a gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms omeprazole, domperidone, and antacid gel.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
