What Causes Cheekbone And Jaw Pain After Exercising In Thread Mil?
I was recently exercising on my treadmill and after 5 minutes of speed walking, I got intense pain in both my cheekbones. I slowed down to a walk and the pain stopped after about another 5 minutes. NOTE: Approximatley 5 years ago I was having pain in my jaw and it turned out to be a clogged artery which required a stent. I'm concerned that this cheekbone pain is connected. pls advise thx Jim
You are right to be concerned the cheekbone pain is connected. Heart pain can be referred to the jaw, arms, and possibly the face. Given your history, this is the first thing that needs to be evaluated. It is possible the cheekbone pain is from something else, but a blocked artery needs to be ruled out first. Stents can sometimes close up or another artery may now be blocked. Stop working out on the treadmill until you see your cardiologist and get this evaluated. Hope this helps.
