What Causes Chest Pain, Heart Fluttering And Dizziness?
Hi. I took something I shouldn t of have 5 weeks ago at a house party and since then I ve had severe panic attacks, in the last week I haven t got any but the symptoms such as chest pain, heart fluttering about, diziness, weakness and a tingling sensation are still there, I am 17 years old and have been to a&e a number of time due to this but all ecgs, chest xrays and bloods have came back okay, is it possible to get the symptoms of panic/anxiety attacks even though I m not getting them? And what you think this all could be?
Hi welcome to hcm I understand your query and concern. Your symptoms are suggestive of Panic attacks secondary to stress and anxiety.I advise you to stay calm.Do not worry.Drugs like propranolol will be helpful in your case.Avoid parties for few days.Avoid smoking, alcohol, addictive substances.Avoid fatty foods and oily foods.Meditation, yoga and breathing exercises will be helpful.Exercise regularly for 30 min as it will release endorphins which enhance your mood naturally thereby decreasing your symptoms. Also take counselling sessions if severe.Consult your cardiologist for followup and expert management. Post your further queries if any, Thank you.
