What Causes Chest Pain In 13 Years Old?

My 13 year old daughter is having a chest pain that goes from the front right through to her back between her shoulder blades. I have given her tums thinking it was heart burn but to no avail it is stil there. I put rub a535 on her back thinking it might be a tight muscle from sleeping crooked. It doesn't seem to be slowing her down and it is just in the middle of her chest with no shooting pains anywhere. I am wondering if I should be very concerned or just moniter her????

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi
Welcome to the healthcaremagic
This is gastritis pain. She will benefit from antacid and proton pump inhibitor. Give her small volume food at frequent intervals. No spicy food.No bread. No aerated drinks.no lying down within 30 minutes of meal.if no relief then take her to ER for ruling out cardiac cause(its possibility is very less )
Happy to help you
Best regards
