What Causes Chest Pain While On Dramamine?

hello, my dad takes Dramamine just to go to sleep at night, at times he overdoses on it for he could go to sleep faster, yesteday he felt chest pains, is this drug Dramamine causing this?? what are the effectson this drug on him if he keep taking Dramamine everyday ,him being 47?? thank youu

Hello,

Dramamine (Dimenhydrinate) can cause CVS side effects like palpitations; hypotension; tachycardia but not chest pain as such. To rule out cardiac pain, ECG should be initial investigation. There are many side effects on prolonged intake.
