What Causes Chest Pains, Tightness And Abnormal Breathing?

HI, I have had Rather uncomfortable feeling in my chest for a while. I went to my GP a while back and she told me it was anxiety but I doesn't feel like it. My chest feels very heavy and tight like I have something constantly leaning on it. My breathing is also slightly uneven, I find it hard to breath at times almost as if I have to force it. I also have stitch like pains in my chest, it is worse when I am lying down. I can feel my heart beating irregularly. I am getting worried about it as it's become increasingly uncomfortable.

Hello & welcome to HCM,

I had gone through the case and found that these symptoms might be related with heart as angina.

So you must go for some investigation like-

-EKG during discomfort.

- Blood pressure monitoring.

- Treadmill test to know the heart stamina and ST Elevation.

-Lipid profile.

These are the basic test to rule out the any abnormality in heart.

After getting the correct diagnosis, take proper treatment.

Hope my answer will be effective for you.

Thanks,

Dr.Soni Verma
