What Causes Child To Get Bruises On Back And Rashes At Night?

My 2.5 yrs old daughter keeps getting bruises on her back. . she had 3 on her spine clear d up and now has another one. . .bruises in weird places ! She has lost 4 lbs in a few months (around 5 months) She wakes every night either screaming or normal, breaks out ina nasty rash has gotten sick in the middle of the nigt. I wnat to know whats going on with my daughter !! ia hve taking her for blood work and im still waiting for the results over 2 wks later. . .should i just take her to the emergancy room?

Hi,

Is there any itching? It will be more easy to physically examine the rash to diagnose. Rash appearing on the back while sleeping suggests probability of an insect bite reaction. Closely inspect for any bedbug or other insects there. Antihistamines and emollients will offer temporary relief. To prevent recurring, we have to find out the cause and treat accordingly.
