What Causes Chronic Calf Pain Post A Hip Replacement Surgery?
Hi. My husband is 58 years old, he had a hip replacement two years ago and ever since he s had really bad pain in his calf of the same side. Recently his foot has started hurting and going numb. He did have a stent put in a few weeks ago, due to blockage in his lower arteries. That did return blood flow, but didn t stop the pain. The dr scheduled an Kri but not until June! I don t feel like it s good to wait that long if it s nerve or muscle damage. Any advice?
In case of restenosis may lead to pain in the calf muscle. Please get it done colour doppler of lower limb or MRA then consult your doctor immediately he will examine and treat you accordingly.
