Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Chronic Lower Back Pain And Extreme Fatigue?
I am a 50 year old female. I have had chronic lower pack pain, extreme fatigue, edgyness, depression, all over joint pain and mild chest pains for almost a year now. I feel like I am dying. I have no energy and can sleep all day everyday. I feel a buldge in my lower back when I lean back in a chair. I can barley lift a glass of water without dropping it. I have a chronic cough which has not gone away for months and my hands seem to always tremple. I am not on any medications and do not drink coffee, tea or soda. I eat a balanced diet but have not been able to exercise, walk or stretch for almost a year now. As I sit here at my desk typing this, I am falling asleep and I had 8 hours of sleep without walking up. What is wrong with me?
Dear patient Considering your case you are showing all signs of hypothyroidism. But associated multivitamin deficiency and arthritis needs also to be ruled out. You need to be examined thoroughly by endocrinologist and investigated with 1. Serum level of T3 T4 and TSH levels 2. Serum calcium phosphorus and alkaline phosphatase levels 3. RA factor. Visit reputed lab nearby you and get it done. Visit endocrinology specialist with all reports. Neglecting health Is not good idea.
