Thanks for your query on HCM

"As"per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this -

1)Take medication as per your treating Doctor's advice

2)Discuss with your treating Doctor to do a [MRI scan] and if scan report is normal then talk about [Amitriptyline] regularly to prevent it.

Do follow few preventive steps like this -

1)Try to avoid triggers. If certain foods or odors seem to have triggered your headaches in the past, avoid them.

2)Try to reduce your caffeine and alcohol intake and avoid tobacco.

3)Make a daily routine with regular sleep patterns and regular meals. In addition, try to control stress.
4)Do exercise regularly. Regular aerobic exercise reduces tension and can help prevent headaches.

5)Try to control weight if obese

6)Reduce the effects of estrogen.you may want to avoid or reduce the medications you take that contain estrogen.

Hope that helps
