What Causes Chronic Pain In The Back, Knees And Neck?

A couple years ago i went to see a doctor about my pain in my lower back. He sent me to a surgeon to help stabilize the pain. Pain has been getting worse in not just my back but knees, shoulder, neck and so on. My family doctor does not write any medicine to relieve the pain. The surgeon said he wouldnt write me my current prescription that it was his job to find where the pain was coming from and relieve it as much as possible. He did a really great job on me and was thankful that i found someone to help me. Now im back in the same situation as before, looking for help. i tried for almost 2 years without taking anything pryor to this and was miserable, couldnt do my job right due to the headaches that always came from the constant on going pain. im lost and dont know who to turn to for help. im embarassed asking for help. just dont know what to do. im 5"8 and weigh 205 pounds.
