What Causes Chronic Pain In The Upper Back, Nausea And Vomiting?

My daughter is experiencing severe pain in her upper right back and side. It caused nausea and vomiting. It comes and goes with no apparent pattern. She has been tested for gallbladder issues, stones, etc. and it shows nothing wrong with her gallbladder. But I ve had gallstones and her symptoms are the same as I had. She is 42 years old.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I think she may be having kidney stones. She can do an ultrasound and urine sample. Use Buscopan for pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
