What Causes Chronic Pain With Bleeding Post Removal Of An Ingrown Nail?

Hello doctor, My daughter is 15 years old and has got her toenail removed due to ingrown toenail infection, on Monday, i.e., 4 days back. She has been given 4 shots of Voveron pain killing injections (twice daily) and has been prescribed some antibiotics, as well. But lately, she has been feeling immense pain in her toe and the bleeding has increased. Please help.

I really appreciate your concern, if it is the persistence pain of toe with the history of nail removed then it may be something left inside the wound and that need to be removed if found, second it could be infection still there in either of this case clinical examination could clear the doubt, hope this information helps.
