Hello,

Possible causes are

1.Gallstone, biliary sludge, choledochal cyst.

2.Abnormal union of the pancreaticobiliary junction, pancreatic divisum.

3.Diabetic acidosis, hyperlipidemia, organic acidemias, hypercalcemia.

4.Associated viral infection, postendoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, alcohol, autoimmune, cystic fibrosis, post-surgery.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Need complete evaluation by CT abdomen, serum amylase and lipase levels, ERCP, ultrasound abdomen, ANA etc.

Please consult your gastroenterologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
