What Causes Cloudy Urine With Abdominal Discomfort?
I had TURP in May 03, and my urine had been cloudy since then. My doctor gave me ciprofloxacin for one week right after the surgery and gave me this drug for three weeks this time. I have felt I am with the side effect of this medication, feeling discomfort in the lower abdomen, pins and needles feeling in the area, can not sit. Should I continue to take ciprofloxaci? Today my urine looks worse. It is cloudy, with milk like or cotton like precipitation, very cloudy.
Hello and welcome to HCM. You should mention your age and if you are taking any other medication for diabetes, high blood pressure, high, cholesterol levels, etc. Ciprofloxacin maybe stopped.you need to see a Urologist, who will examine you and advice routine urine tests and culture. routine blood tests of kidney function, blood sugar, and PSA are advised. An ultrasound abdomen and pelvis should be done to know, if there's any cause for the cloudy urine in kidneys or bladder. Hope your doubts are cleared.
