What Causes Cold And Cough Along With Upper Abdominal Cramps?

I returned from a business trip last Friday and noticed that I had a stuffy nose and cough the next day. By Sunday I also noticed an accompanying constant cramping in my upper stomach. It felt like heartburn in the upper stomach and lower chest. I went to the doctor Tuesday late afternoon and they prescribed Amoxicillin, Loratadine, and Nasoflow. I have been taking them since Tuesday late afternoon. I m doing better as far as the sinus congestion and coughing are concerned, but I still experience stomach spasms and heartburn in my chest (although I must admit that I didn t start taking the Nasoflow until today). General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Possibly the heartburn is related to the drugs but stomach cramps not. You can take any PPI to protect the stomach lining.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
