What Causes Cold Shivers In Stomach Radiating To Legs?

For about a week now I get cold shivers in my stomach that tend extend in my legs and for a few hrs. I ll often feel it in the mornings waking up and feeling colder than usual without feeling feverish. Causes loss of appetite, butterfly-like feeling in the stomach, constipation and frequent gas passing, fatigue, headaches. Some days feel like I m getting better only to wake up feeling same the following. Please help me...thanks.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of getting cold shivers in stomach that tend to extend to the legs. There is no fever. There is loss of appetite, butterfly-like feeling in the stomach, constipation and frequent gas passing, fatigue, headaches, wants help..
My thoughts and advise are:
- First of all get a clinical evaluation as your symptoms are varied and do not fit into any known disease or disorder and may have multiple reasons.
- This may be due to Enteric fever or so.
Hence get the following tests done:
- Blood: CBC, Widal, Electrolytes, liver functions and so on.
- Tests of stool and urine.
- Ultrasonography and CT scan of the abdomen and colonoscopy if needed.
- To get started with proper symptomatic and supportive treatment and definitive treatment after the reports and clinical evaluation.
