What Causes Cold Sweats And Stomach Pain While Having High Bp/cholesterol?

hi im female 45 14 stone .i am diabetic taking metformin 500 recently got high blood pressure and cholesterol and been presribed amclodipine,ramipril and silvestram last few day having hot and cold sweats stomach pain and nausea unable to eat and feel very tired and have a headache

Hello!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms could be related to amlodipine adverse effects.

Hyperkalemia, could also explain some of your symptoms.

Coming to this point, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam, a complete blood count and blood electrolyte levels.

You may need to stop amlodipine and switch to another anti-hypertensive drug.
