Hi I am trying to help someone who has been prescribed oxycodone, antidepressant and gabapentin high doses , along with advil and tylenol for post c section pain for the last four months. she has just returned to work and I find her unable to think clearly and quite frankly drugged. I am worried no one is watching out for her and worried about drug addiction. We had a frank discussion today about this and that I was very concerned. She admits that the meds do not really help the pain. but she continues to take all the meds, She is a dear friend and lovely person so not saying anything was not acceptable. I told her we would figure out something so here I am looking up alternatives. Any suggestions?
