He is also on Pantoprazole 40mg qd before breakfast but hasn t taken since Friday. The nausea has increased and for the first day he took the Zofran Q 8 hrs. he has had increasing confusion and tonight he is hallucinating. Could there be a interaction between Meds?
Your symptoms seem to be related to side effects of Zofran. Nausea and confusion are common side effects of this medication. The symptoms will go away on its own. If the symptoms continue you should consult your doctor for an alternative medication.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
