What Causes Congestion Above Forehead Post Surgery To Repair Inguinal Hernia?

I had surgery to repair an inguinal hernia a week ago yesterday. Stopped taking pain meds this past Tuesday. Ever since I have a lot of congestion above my forehead and at times I feel week in the knees. Could these symptoms be post-surgery related or could I just have picked up some type of cold? My daughter recently had one.
