Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a 13 year old that has had a fever in the mornings and at night up to 102 degrees, over the past week. There is no fever during the day. She also has congestion, coughing and a mild headache. She has been taking Aleve or Acetamenophin to control the fever and started decongestants today. Is this more likely a sinus infection or the flu?
Hello. I just read through your question. The symptoms you describe are consistent with a sinus infection, as you say. I recommend consulting with your doctor so the correct treatment plan can be implemented.
