General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the constant dull ear ache with feeling of lump in throat may be in relation with some sort of chronic medical condition.

* There can be adenoid enlargement, paratonsillar growth or other pathology responsible for this.

* An indirect laryngosocpy is primary step of evaluation to proceed for the final diagnosis and cure accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
