Hi,

There are several possible reasons for feeling dizziness with anti-hypertensives, and with diabetes and hypertension.

Most Anti-hypertensives can cause a lowering of blood pressure. This lower blood pressure may reduce the amount of blood flow to the brain. When this happens, it is possible for one to feel dizzy and suffer headaches.

Along with this, it is possible for one to develop headaches and drowsiness as a side effect of any medication.

Another reason for a headache may be an excessive lowering of blood glucose levels with medication. This happens when the glucose-lowering drug one uses reduces the glucose to less than 80 mg/dL and this causes both headaches and the dizziness.

Low blood sugar also causes one to feel sleepy. It would be best to talk to your regular doctor about changing your dosage or to monitor the glucose levels and the blood pressure better to prevent any symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
