What Causes Constant Intestinal Issues?

When baby was 3 weeks old, her cord wasn t coming off so the dr. applied silver nitrate; she said it would help it dry up and eventually fall off, which it did and there were no further complications. My baby is now 4 months old and is having constant intestinal issues. could the two be related?

I don't think there's a relation between the intestinal issues of your baby and the "late" falling off, of his cord. Even in case of umbellical hernia we rarely have complications. Probablly there are problem with digestion just "a bit normal" in the first months of live. Anywhere we can discuss again.
