What Causes Constant Pain Under Rib Cage And Intermittant Stomach Ache?

I have pain under my rib cage in the middle. It started as heartburn and occasional sore stomach. Now there is constant pain in the middle all the time. Have gone to the dr and she gave me pantolic. It has helped with the heartburn but not the stomach pain. What could be the problem.

Hi
Looking at your history it seems that you are suffering from stomach hyperacidity and that has gotten you a gastric ulcer
You need not to worry
please continue pantolic and add syrup sucralfate 10 ml thrice daily for rapid recovery
antacids containing oxetacaine can reduce your pain
Have plenty of fluids
avoid fried and spicy food
you will be alright very soon
thanks for using this site
good luck
take care
