Hello, my name is Greg. I have been living with neck stiffness and limited mobility for about 2 years I go to a chiropractor on a semi- regular basis. He adjusts or cracks the neck. The relief is temporary. It returns within a day. Any Ideas what may be causing the problem. Thanks Greg
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have stiffness in neck. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like cervical spondylosis , cervical radiculopathy , disc problem or wrong working posture . I would suggest you to applt warm compresses several times a day , do nor work in one posture for long time , change posture after some time and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain . Consult chiropractor if condition doesn't get well . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI along with physical examination . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may also recommend physical therapy and light stretching exercises .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
