What Causes Constant Trembling Of Bottom Of Lip And Throat?

I am 64 years old and a few months ago my bottom lip started trembling and now my chin trembles. Sometimes my tongue at the base in my throat trembles and it feels like I am going to choke. Is this something I need to see a doctor about? I have been told that I may have had a stroke.

You should see a doctor about this. It sounds like you may have a problem in the nerves controlling these areas of the body. This might be from an injury to the nerve, or to compression of the nerve or even a mass on the nerve. It seems too localized for a stroke but a local blood vessel problem like an aneurysm may be irritating the nerve. Get this evaluated by a doctor. You may need to see a neurologist, who specializes in nerve and brain problems. It is possible you may need an imaging study like an MRI to look at the areas that are trembling. Hope this helps.
