Hi, I have been contently gaining weight since September now, I have had all the sings of my previous pregnancy, except I am still having my monthly, and I have taken at least 20 test all of which have been neg. I did see my dr. in December, she did a test and a physical and said not pregnant. but here I am several months later and my belly is nice and round, and still gaining for NO reason at all. I cant get enough sleep, I am having stomach cramps and spasms. I feel like im going out of my mind. what else could be wrong with me?

Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

1. Having your periods missed for several months is not necessary a sign of pregnancy. If the test resulted negative, then, we should consider other causes including:
- PCOS
- infection
- hormonal imbalance
- stress

2. Gaining weight is the effect of hormonal imbalance as long as your periods are not regular.

3. Stomach cramps and spasms might be possibly due to:
- uterus contraction due to missed periods
- ovary issues (ovulation or PCOS)
- urinary tract problems
- bowel issues

A further abdominal ultrasound is advised to rule out such problems.

Nothing bad is happening to you. Need to have patience and be in close contact with your doctor!

All the best!
