Hi,

Constipation is not a common side effect of Acyclovir. However, constipation can be caused by many factors including changes in diet, medications, and lack of physical activity. It is important to speak with your doctor before discontinuing any medication. They may be able to adjust your dose or recommend other measures to alleviate your constipation. You should also mention your constipation to your doctor to rule out any other underlying medical conditions.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
