What Causes Constipation And Acidity?

sir, i am manu...i came to study in karnataka 2 yrs back for studies...since than my stomach is not well..i am not passing stools properly...slightly constipated..reduced frequency nd not propery formed...from past 2-3 months i am having acidity nd gas problem too..i am a smoker..7-8 cigarettes per day...plz advice?

Hello! First of all you need TO GET RID OF SMOKING. To get a proper bowel movement your diet should have plenty of fluids and fibre - around 8-10 glasses of water, seasonal fresh fruit and green leafy vegetables. You could add a natural
probiotic like yogurt/curd to your diet. Regular exercise helps. Too much tea/coffee/soda/alcolhol/spicy food intake can lead to 'acidity & gas' and therefore should be avoided. All of this will take some time to produce results so be a little patient.
