What Causes Constipation/diarrhea And Fatigue After Gallbladder Removal?

I m having issues with constipation/diarrhea, fatigue, vertigo since I had my gallbladder removed 3 ys ago. Just had some blood test work done and it showed low potassium and low B12 but TSH is normal. Can the low potassium be the main cause of my symptoms? Also I wanted to check to see if maybe I should further investigate my thyroid too? Dr. Told me if you have a thyroid issue then it would show abnormal TSH level and so far that is not the case. I also have a slighly elevated sugar level too. Can you give some advice into what direction to go? My Dr. Also wants me to see a gastro Dr. Too.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of gall bladder removal 3 years ago, followed by constipation/diarrhea, fatigue and vertigo. Blood tests show low potassium and low Vitamin B-12 and TSH being normal, slight elevation of sugar levels and wants to know the reasons.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Tests of stool for routine and stercobilinogen.
Tests of blood for CBC and liver functions.
ultrasonography of the abdomen.
Clinical evaluation of the vertigo under the care of an ENT Surgeon as this may be unrelated to your gall bladder removal
Once a proper diagnosis is done a proper treatment can be planned to get a cure.
