What Causes Constipation With Thick Yellow Mucus Around The Stools?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type r query here...for the past year I only pass stools about every 10 days and I have noticed that when I do pass my stools have a very sticky yellow thick discharge or mucas around them. I am a 31 year old female

Hello,

The given symptom of diarrhea with mucus could be a dysentery (Chronic). If I would be the doctor of this case then I would try to treat this case with tablet Doxycycline once in day with tablet Metronidazole.
