Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Well the fact that she had blood in the stool is because the chronic constipation and the difficulty in stool. So my advise to you is:
Of course plenty of water, orange juice, apple juice. Eat healthy food with soup, vegetables, fibrous foods, muesli in everyday use. Also eat kiwi, fig jam and avoid bananas in her diet. Also avoid fast food, spicy food and avoid eating after 7:30 pm dinner. Of course this want her time and a regular diet.

Hope my advises are helpful to you.
