Hi my daughter is 16 months old, for the past couple of months she has hell really bad constapation and for The past few weeks when she poops it is small dark almost black hard balls. And tonight she had blood in the stool... should I be worried? I have taken her to doctor and she just keep saying to give her mineral oil. (Oh yea she is also on iron drops)

Well the fact that she had blood in the stool is because the chronic constipation and the difficulty in stool. So my advise to you is:
Of course plenty of water, orange juice, apple juice. Eat healthy food with soup, vegetables, fibrous foods, muesli in everyday use. Also eat kiwi, fig jam and avoid bananas in her diet. Also avoid fast food, spicy food and avoid eating after 7:30 pm dinner. Of course this want her time and a regular diet.
