What Causes Constipation?

hello Doctor, i,m taking betnesol forte for past 1 month , but i'm patient for past 18yrs and for 4 i did not take any medicine because it was under control, my problem is i'm gaining weight, hungry, constipatition, muscle pull at calf and feel i have lost strength, sleepless etc etc are all these side effects, although no fresh lesions are not coming , i hav to reduce weight and constipation pls suggest.
