Hi, I am 48, 170 cm, and 70kg I am ceoliac, and have I have been burping all day and have pains in the middle of my back and down my left arm. I take somac for indigestion, but this isn't helping. I can't even have a drink of water without burping. I have hardly eaten anything all day. The thught of eating worries me because I know it will just make me burp more. Trace
Noted the history and understood the concerns. Pain in back referring to the left arm needs immediate EKG to rule out any cardiac problems. I would advise you to rush o ER asap. Since you have got celiac disease it needs proper evaluation, examination and investigations for proper management. Hence consult a Gastroenterologist for this and to evaluate for the burping, back pain and all the symptoms to see for GERD and get an additional treatment with a PPI like Omeprazole, Domperidone for burping and reflux, antacid, diet adjustments and so on as per the final diagnosis made by further investigations like Upper GI Endoscopy and so on. Control of stress and/or anxiety is also very important in such cases.
Take Care
